I purchased a pair of Steve Madden Freebird apex boots 3 months ago. I have worn them now 5 times and they have separated at the seam leaving a hole in the inseam. I just reached out to customer service who informed me that they only guarantee their product for 30 days and no replacement can be offered as a result. REALLY? REALLY? I ordered a pair of shoes online and received the wrong size. I ordered a size 8 and received a size 9.5. I called the customer service number provided on my receipt and the associate proceeds to tell me that they are sold out and all they can do is give me a refund. Yesterday, I went to order two pairs of boots I had my eye on, and wanted to use a Visa gift card I had received. After giving me errors at least ten times, I contacted customer service and they told me their site didn't accept that card because of security reasons. I purchased three pairs of shoes from Steve Madden with a gift certificate my partner had given me. Two were clearance, one was a pre-order. I only found them available online and ordered my size. I received one shoe that was clearance and was way too big!! I could not return them because it was clearance. I then waited for the other two. Steve Madden - TERRIBLE RETURN POLICY

I bought shoes from the website directly and wore them for a maximum of 2 hours outside. They hurt like *** and they werent even heels and I was wearing socks with them! Now I am being told that they dont accept worn merchandise and that "their return policy is stated everywhere. I dont see it in my confirmation email or when you go to checkout. I ordered shoes from the store because they did not have my size in the store. I got an email of the order confirmation but after a week, I never got any shipping update. I chatted with someone from stevemadden.com and he/she said the order was cancelled and they did not have any other information on that other than it was cancelled so call the store.
